PreKindergarten 4-year-old Class

The St. John Pre-Kindergarten strives to provide a Christian atmosphere with fun, flexible learning experiences that enable children to:

  • Develop a strong positive self-worth as a valued child of God
  • Formulate social and emotional skills appropriate for home and school
  • Develop cognitive and motor skills appropriate for each child through the philosophy that a child's work is his play
  • Initiate and maintain spiritual growth through dayily Bible stories and integration of activities with Jesus Christ as Savior and friend

The curriculum is carefully planned to provide continuity and progressive development. Children learn to grow physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. The curriculum includes:

St. John Lutheran Pre-Kindergarten class is a full-day, five-day-a-week program for four-year-olds. Hours of operation for the full-day program are 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. We observe the state age requirement of 4 years of age by August 1. Class size is limited to 12 students. When class size reaches the maximum limit, a waiting list will be started. An application must be completed and can be obtained from the school office.

Tuition Rates for the 2010-2011 PK4 program are
$315 per month ($3,150 per year) from August through May.
A non-refundable registration/book fee of $75.00
is due at the time of enrollment.
