Obituary for Georgetta A. (Schiller) Liesik, age 88, daughter of John E. Schiller and Emma Wanner. She was born June 11, 1921, Aurora, Dearborn, Indiana. She died March 8, 2010 at Rosewood Care Center, Inverness, Cook, Illinois, of complications of Parkinson’s disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and five sisters, her husband, Alex A. Liesik, and step-daughter, Barbara J. Richie. She is survived by her step-sons, Robert A. Liesik, Everett, Washington, and Richard M. Liesik, Mt Prospect, Illinois, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
A viewing will be at Friedrich's Funeral Home, 320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, Illinois. Friday, 3-9 pm, March 19. Funeral services will be at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 304 W Palatine Rd, Prospect Heights, Illinois followed by internment at Randhill Park Cemetery, 1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Georgetta served for over thirty years on The Alter Guild of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory could be made to The Alter Guild, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 304 W. Palatine Rd, Prospect Heights, Illinois, 60070-1199.
